Ana Paula and Ryan are dear friends of mine and when Ryan asked me to do a surprise engagement shoot, I loved the idea!
The hard part was to make it not seem obvious to Ana Paula as she knew me and would recognize me if I was hiding behind a bush taking pictures. So I asked her if she would do a portrait session to help with my portfolio. Perfect cover.
Ana Paula and I began the shoot in a small park and then wandered over to another park for more photos when we ‘ran into’ Ryan. I suggested I take a couple pictures of the two of them together and they liked the idea. Then the big moment arrived. Ryan pulled Ana Paula aside, got down on one knee, and proposed. She did not suspect a thing!
